Privacy Policy

This policy explains what The Periscope Post collects and how we handle it. It is short on purpose.

What we collect

The Periscope Post is a content website. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names, addresses, or payment details to read our explainers. If you email us, we keep that message so we can reply and follow up, and nothing more.

Analytics and cookies

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which explainers are read, in aggregate, so we can write more of what helps. This tells us that a page was visited; it is not used to identify you personally. Any cookies used are limited to what makes the site work and measure it at a high level.

Third parties

We link out to primary sources, studios, companies, and agencies, so you can check our work. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them. We do not sell reader data, because we do not collect the kind of data there would be to sell.

Contact

Questions about privacy, or a request about any message you have sent us, can go to editor@periscopepost.com. If we make a material change to this policy, we will update this page.
